NFIP FOR INSURANCE AGENTS
Presented by FEMA and the Nebraska Department of Natural Resources.
This free presentation will give a broad overview of various aspects of the NFIP as it relates to Flood Insurance Policies. Attendees will gain a basic working knowledge of NFIP rating, claim coverages, and mitigation techniques. There will also interactive exercises, where participants will be given various rating elements and shown how to determine the lowest floor and identify the proper rate.
This seminar will be held from 1:00 pm am until 3:30 pm on Thursday April 4 at the Papio-Missouri River NRD, 8901 S. 154th St., Omaha, NE 68138.
Additionally, there is a Substantial Damage Estimation training from 8:30 am -12:00 pm and a Flood Venting presentation from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm (lunch is provided). You can register for those events by clicking here.
This course provides 3 hours of Property and Casualty Continuing Education as well as meets the 3 hour requirement to sell NFIP policies in the State of Nebraska.
