In response to the recent flooding in Nebraska, FEMA and the Department of Natural Resources will be offering a free Substantial Damage Estimator training.
This seminar will be held from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm on Thursday April 4 at the Papio-Missouri River NRD, 8901 S. 154th St., Omaha, NE 68138.
The course is designed for Floodplain Managers, Community Planners, Elected Officials, and anyone who may need to be involved in property evaluations.
Additionally, there is a 1-hour Flood Vent training from 12:00 pm - 1 pm (lunch provided) and a NFIP for Insurance Agents session from 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm. You can register for those events by clicking here .
