The Great Flood of 2011-Six Years Later

Effects, Aftermath, Mitigation, and Lessons Learned


Join us on July 12, 2017 for this all-day tour where we will see sites affected by the 2011 Missouri River flood and talk with communities and property owners that have been through the flood recovery process.


This tour will begin at the Lied Lodge in Nebraska City at 9:30 am.  From there, we will see sights in Hamburg, Fremont County, and Nebraska City.

This event has been pre-approved for 7 CECs for Certified Floodplain Managers.


The cost for the tour is $25.  No refunds will be available, however you can transfer your seat to another person if you are unable to attend.


This tour is limited to the first 50 people who register.  You must register by July 6, 2017.
